Game crashing on PC Client

Hi, in the PC Client every time I try to get the BRONZIUM DATA CARD or the PC SPECIAL MISTERY CHEST the game crashes with the message:
"PURCHASE FAILED
Unable to connect to the EA servers. Please check your Internet connection, make sure the Platform Client is online and try again. Please see ea.com/unable-to-connect for more information".

Its the only spot where i've got troubles. I've been battling in Conquest, Arena, simulating nods, etc.

No issues when doing it in Mobile Client either.

This has been happening to me for the last week or so, almost every time I try to buy a bronzium card or mystery chest on the PC client. It has never happened on the Android client. Other people are seeing the same problem, as shown on Reddit. The error message is identical every time:
