Game freezes when trying to acquire mod/relic ascension on PC client

Whenever I attempt to open the free mod ascension or relic ascension, the game plays the loading scene and stays like this forever. Don't know whether it is just me or this is prolific, as I haven't seen anything on these forums. If anyone could provide help on this information, that would be swell.
