Game suddenly unlinked from Game Center

Summarize your bug Game suddenly unlinked from my Game Center. Haven’t been able to get back on my account since.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Look on forums!

I logged in on 12/28/23 around 12:30pm CST and did my dailies and logged off. Went to log in again around 4:15pm CST and was taken to a bran new game account. I tried restarting and the game said there was no account linked to my Game Center. I have included screenshots that show my account with my in game name and ally code, as well as of the same account now with a default name with the same ally code. Every time I try to sign in with my Game Center, it takes me to a fresh account. I also have my Player ID which is needed to regain my account, but EA Help hasn’t been any help and I just keep getting the run around. PLEASE, SOMEONE HELP ME!!! I’m not the only person to experience this lately and I don’t want to lose an account I’ve had for 8+ years!

    @EA_Gunner I did not perform any deletion request. You have to physically type “DELETE” for that, and that action wasn’t taken. Can I ask for clarification on that action being taken? The account is still in the game and still synced to its gg profile, so how is it deleted? I’m still miffed at a request that was never performed.

    @EA_Gunner That still doesn’t explain how the request was made. I am the only person linked to this account in game and it’s only played on my device. If you have to physically type “DELETE” in the Delete Account box in the settings menu, how was that request made by me? I still haven’t gotten a response from anyone in the game help chat, or online how that could have been done. No one seems to know or care that this has happened to multiple people in just a few short weeks. They can’t even give a good explanation about it. Like EA hopes people will accept a lame 1 line response and be okay with it. So thank you for not really giving any clarification. I’ll go on with my day.

    @Wilbur691 Because the data is not available for EA Help. Once someone requests to be forgotten, the account shows up as deleted for EA Help.

    @EA_GunnerAppreciate your talk. But as far as your “can take up to 30 days”… I can point you to any number of posts(1 in particular on Reddit) that was well over a year ago… and that account is still in the game(whether active or not, no clue)… but if the account is deleted, shouldn’t it then be taken out of the game? Why are deleted accounts just hanging out if they truly are deleted? If I requested the deletion, why do I not have any confirmation of it? I think as a player base, the players as a whole, deserve a lot better responses than what they get from anyone linked to EA or CG. Mind blowing this is still an issue after years of complaints. And the in game help chat is a joke. Takes hours to get a response… and when you do, it’s always someone different. You’ll go through the nightmare of EA Help and by the time you’re finished, you’ll have talked to 10+ different people, none of them for more than a 1 line sentence trying to get you to do it yourself instead of actually providing any type of help.
