I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing this problem.
You say that it also doesn’t work with your IPad that is connected to the WiFi, so does it mean that you are experiencing this Issue on your mobile, while you are outside of the range of your WiFi (using mobile Data). If so, then this problem could have been caused by the bad connection to the servers (due to bad mobile data).
About your IPad: How is your Home WiFi? There are many Websites (often from the Company you get your WiFi from) that offer speed tests. If your speed is ok, then try to reinstall the app.
Currently there are no major Performance Issues caused by an update or similar (not reported in the Forums or on AHQ).
I hope that one of those suggestions works.

@CEO_RagoI am having similar issues ever since the update. Some of my guildmates as well. Loading logo forever, says connectivity, click "try again" and it fixes it sometimes. Wifi and cellular data both have this issue and both are fine

unlike the author of this Bug Report, I assume you (and your guild-mates) have experienced this Issue since today (due to the latest update)?
This is a minor connectivity Issue which should be fixed by now. Please close the app and reopen it. It should work then.
