GL SEE event crash - lost 70 tickets

Launched final tier of SEE Journey Guide, costing 70 DS Currency. Unfortunately after going into the battle the loading screen with the animated spinner presented itself and stayed there.

After several minutes tried a number of things to try and get the status refreshed, e.g. switching from WiFi to mobile data, turning airplane mode on and off, switching to a different app or the home page, and back again. In all attempts, the spinning loader was still there and the battle could not commence.

I've had this issue in the past during TW which is annoying, but that's just a dropped battle. It costs me about 600-700 crystals to refresh energy for that amount of dark currency, so it's a lot of crystals/time down the drain.

I'd there a way to get the crystals refunded, or an ability mat?

It would be much better if energy/currency wasn't taken until the first attack has taken place.

I had the same issue. In general I am noticing a huge number of connectivity problems in recent 1-2 months. I am on iPhone 12 Pro Max, I am

using a good and stable internet connection. Nonetheless I am constantly forced to change my internet connection or restart the game, despite everything else having no problem with the internet whatsoever. And this is very frustrating, especially in situations where i dump 70 tickets to launch a GL tier. -.- 

Not to mention the possibility of losing a GAC match, because my game won’t be able to send the result properly.

I just launched (10:30 pm EST) the tier 4 of the SEE event, only to be stuck on the loading screen. I was on wifi but switched to cellular data but it didn’t help. I lost 70 dark side tickets in the process.

SEE tier 5 does not progress past the loading screen, happens to every person in my guild and on both wifi and data, lost me 70 tickets

Just tested and issue occurs with other SEE event tiers as well

Yep, just lost 70 tickets as well,  I switched between wifi to data 4 times and shut down every single app I had open and gave up after 15mins. I just tried earlier tiers for kicks and also stuck. 

Happened to me on SEE Tier 6. Lost 70 tickets.  (Ally code 667-455-539)

Same thing happened twice (140 tickets total)  at ~3:40am est on SEE event tier 6.
