I've missed out on better ranking (read:better rewards) and moving up to a new league.
I've have yet to see any apology or plan concerning what CG is doing to remedy this.
This game and GC, as a whole, are failing their loyal player base.
This is incredibly frustrating and GC should be ashamed of themselves.

This is so massively disappointing. I signed up for the GAC a week ago and did quite well in the first round. I keep up with the forums, various Discord channels, etc. Never did it occur to me that I would have to re-sign up every week--I guess I missed that one sentence in one dev post somewhere. What sense does that make anyway? It's a 5-week event. Why would someone choose to skip a week? I was in the GAC at least 3-4 times today and never saw any sort of notification that I needed to re-join. Never noticed any Join button. There was no inbox message. There was no red dot.
And now I am locked out for a week. No advancement, no rewards, my entire 5 weeks of this GAC is trashed, my lifetime score is trashed. I spent about 5000 crystals furthering my Geo Alpha along to have a new team. This isn't like a 2-day Territory War or a 3-hour Sith Raid that I might miss. As a 5-week event with "lifetime" implications, there should be no chance to miss joining. Instead, the only way to know is to happen to notice that there's a Join button.
I am so completely disappointed with this very poor design feature of the game. And now there's also no sort of compensation for this. I have to admit, being this disappointed really puts into perspective that I've taken this game way too seriously, spent too much time and too much money on it. Probably time to step back or out.
