Same issue for me. Never had it before. Started after update.

I have a guild mate with an iPhone XS max who had the same issue. He said it wasn't doing this until the patch on 3/13.

    I am also experiencing this issue. Opened a ticket. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, to no avail.

      It did not start until latest patch was downloaded, but now does it every time I’ve logged in.  Same device: iPhone XS Max.

        Happen to me also and only after patch. 

        Ship arena is ok only affects character arena for me.
