This is February 2022 and I finally started the GL Kenobi event a few days ago. During tier 1 the game crashed and when I got back in my 15 tokens were gone, and basically lost them. I wrote to EA support and they gave me a response saying, that I should reboot, update, power off and on, and try again. Oh yeah, and that they couldn’t do anything about reimbursing the resources spent due to the issue. I find this laughable since they have reimbursed crystals for other reasons. They are just plain lazy and apathetic towards their customers. They could go back and check the logs for the player and see that the player was disconnected. At the end of the day I said, oh well, let me forget about it and hope it doesn’t happen again.
well today I did everything t they told me and on my final attempt for tier one the game crashed during the starting animation of GG turning around. Once again, lost another 15 tokens.
How is it possible that a company that makes so many millions is incapable of fixing this bug?
the answer has to be that, they really don’t care enough and since it means players have to spend more resources in order to repeat the event, they have no financial incentive to fix it. I am not going to waste my time writing to EA support again for the same issue. But I do want to share my experience with all of you so that you can all benefit from my bad experience.
As far as to what I can do, I simply will not spend a nickel on this game. It will be relegated to casual gaming. My guild will have to put up with my lack of progress, and CG will lose another customer.
