Update: I contacted help within game and they couldn't help. They redirected me manually open a ticket on EA's website and it was resolved.

    Hello. Due to your payment not going through our payment system, we can't issue the refund. As the advisor said, you'll need to contact the support team for the store the purchase was made through.

    Hi, thanks. Will my account be safe? Others have had their EA accounts banned because they applied for legitimate Steam refunds, for example.

    I would advise against doing a chargeback. Otherwise, you should be fine.

    It says the purchase was made directly via EA.

    There is no history of this in Play Store's accounts.

    Please contact support for the Play Store so they can assist with this. We can't help over the EA Forums and since the advisor also said you need to speak with them, it would be best to contact their support.
