JML ult transfom model missing
In conquest I used JML. Got to ult, the luke in black was not visible.
Enemies still attacked him, with damage numbers popping up in the empty space.
If I used an ability that required an animation, the game would lag for a bit, then sometimes the ability worked, sometimes it didn't. Using inherited teachings worked fine, I guess as there is no animation for him. If I tried to call JML to attack with another jedi using inherited teachings, it lagged and no effect happened.
I also noticed that the enemy team models stopped having the death animation and stayed on the field even when killed. That was against a Phoenix team, ezra and zeb were still visible when the victory text came up.
Got through that first battle ok, trying not to involve JML too much.
I force closed my game, in case it would help. Then I tested it again.
Second battle was against inquisitorius. Again black cloak JML failed to appear, however in this battle, 8th brother did the buzz saw move on the place where JML should be, then the missing buttons bug happened, and the mission timed out.
My guess is that the game was trying to apply a debuff or armor shred to JML, but did not find the place to put it (there were no buff/debuff icons above where JML should have been, or a health bar).
Looking at the screen I imagined the code talking to itself:
Attack bot: I hit JML, go put the debuff on, debuff bot.
Debuff bot: Bro, I went to put the debuff on JML, but he's not there.
AB: Nah man, just damaged him he must be there.
DB: OK, if you say so, I'll go try again. Ah... he's still not there.
AB: What? He's definitely there, I did damage and everything. Go put the debuff so we can move on.
DB: You go put the debuff then.
AB: Fine, I will, (mutters about getting good help being impossible)...
DB: Ah, you're back, I guess you put that debuff on him right, because he's there right?
AB: ... I couldn't find him. Maybe if we both go look?
DB: OK, I'm not doing anything else anyway....
AB: Where is he?
DB: Maybe we should ask the others to look too?
..... LOSS TIME OVER.
AB: Sweet, we don't have to worry about it. Wanna get a beer?
