I'm currently also experiencing the same connection issues that everyone else seems to be experiencing. I'm not able to sign into my account via Google Play or otherwise, and I can only play as a Lvl 1 guest account. I can still play on PC, but it's not ideal.
Anyways, I wanted to ask the following questions to help with troubleshooting:
I'm hoping this gets resolved asap, it's embarassing for EA honestly and I'm seriously thinking about quitting if it continues.
I'm on day 3 of not being able to sign in and no word from EA.

I have finally managed to get in, I had to change the date and then go back into SWGOH then it allowed me to sign in via Google. Whether this works in the long run I've managed to get in and then close and get back in without any issues.
Change your phone to a date before you had the issue.
