How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Summarize your bug Merrins shadow stride ability does not work in the assault battle. Specifically CT3 for me. When she uses it in wave 4 Sidious is still able to kill her with his AOE. The ability specifically says she cannot be damaged. Because of that everyone will die and as the defeat pops up a random ally will revive on the defeat screen.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play CT3 of the assault battle and use shadow stride
