depends whether your account was connected to Game Center or not.
1. Your account was connected to Game Center: If you know anyone else with an iOS Device (IOS 10 or higher), then I suggest to log in your Game Center Account there and use the function to transfer your account from IOS to Android (this function is offered in the settings).
2. Your account isn’t connected to Game Center: Then even if you have a new IOS device, your data is not saved. The only way to get your account is with the help of the EA Customer Support. Therefore you need your ally-code or Player-ID.

Thank you for the info. I'm pretty sure it was connected to game center, so I'll have to find someone who'll let me use their iOS device. This is a kind of stupid system though, IMHO. You'd think they'd just be able to migrate your data.
