Missing guild chat option

please let me know if you ever find a solution to this.  I spent 2 hours waiting for them on the phone yesterday only to have them tell me its a bug and post it in the forums.

No offense, but if that worked I wouldn't have posted. 

It's clearly a bug affected many players. 

Same problem for me and maybe even worse cause I’m a guild leader.  I can’t chat or set any guild instructions!

Following the dev instructions posted in the link is useless because that “support” team won’t help.  They  told me I just have to wait for an update to fix it...even though the update notes say that support can fix it.

I sure do hope dev is looking into a fix.

I spent 90 minutes waiting to speak with someone last night for them to tell me the exact same thing.

Summarize your bug - Since the latest update, I no longer have access to Guild Chat functions limiting my role as the guild leader.  I've contacted EA support twice on the phone, once in e-mail and lastly via chat support.  I use Game Center in iOS and they believe the last update caused an issue due to an incorrect age restriction.  I've gone through the process to correct the age restriction and it didn't fix the issue.  I have 2 iOS devices that I can use and both have the same issue.  I've deleted the game, reinstalled the game, cleared the cache in Safari, restarted the devices and used different internet connections on both iOS devices and it didn't resolve the issue.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Something changed in your code from the last install.  I believe it's tied to the age restriction issue.  For me to see the issue, i just log into the game and see that I don't have a guild chat button.

I went through the entire process listed upon that page which lead me to chat support.  Sadly, it did not resolve the issue.  They were stumped.  They suggested i report it here in the forums.  This is after 2 long support phone calls and 1 email support which wasn't helpful at all.
