according to swgoh.gg Sion's total health is 37078.  My Sion has 39088 health with all 5 g12 pieces, so a bonus from mods of 2010.  I have mods that increase health by .63%, 304, 967 and 530.  So that's a flat increase of 1801 and should be 37078 x .63% which is 233.59.  Based on my calculations should be a grand total of 2034.59.  Obviously something is wrong.  Are mods that increase a % amount not calculating off of maxed stats?  This could be a big deal as people make decisions on committing resources to upgrading mods to 6dot.

Okay, pretty sure I've figured this out, and it matches previous reports I've read on Speed set bonus calculations.

When calculating percentages, mods only look at the character stats of a completed gear level. A fully maxed out Sion has 37078 health, but g12 is not complete. If you subtract the health bonuses provided by the g12/g12+ pieces that are installed, Sion has a Health pool of 33328 (37078 - 1500 - 250 - 2000 = 33328), which represents his health pool at the completion of g11.

    0.63% of 33328 = 209.96 health.

Your 0.63% mod is granting 209 health
    (2010 total bonus - "flat bonuses" 304 - 967 - 530 = 209)

So if the game is calculating your 0.63% health increase based on the 33328 base health, then it's off by 1 health, which is easily a computer rounding issue.

You could test this by changing that 0.63% health mod for a different percentage, and see if his health changes based on the 33328 base calculation?

I've heard that too, but is that stated officially somewhere?

yes mods from the beginning only do % based calculations on completed gear levels so right now G12 stats will not be taken into account for % defense/offense/health/speed (might be forgetting some) .

there is also some rounding difference that have always been there between in game and swgoh.gg % secondaries (have looked at new swgoh.gg yet to compare.

mods % based also do not compound on top of flat mod adds. so if you are getting +100 health from a mod and + 5% health the 5% is only of base stats and does not include the +100 from a secondary

I don't know if it's officially somewhere, but the math works out.  I had first seen it demonstrated pretty simply with speed percentages, since speed numbers are flat percentages and low numbers.
