Thank you!!!  I did have a semi-successful attempt when I tried again today.  Got past the first wave and just before completing the run for a full points clear the sound started glitching, game froze, crashed and then got a "Heroes has stopped working" error message (first time getting that outcome).  Not sure if that helps any with trouble shooting.  But other attempts have been the usual "Victory" after 1st wave.
