You can still hit the greyed out button to join. Bug needs to get fixed but you can join

We're experiencing the same thing. Many members think they have joined when they have not.
IMO - They should only have to click the join button once to sign up.

We had the same issues in my guild. As others have already mentioned, you can still join by tapping the greyed out join button.
This is confusing, and I'm sure there will be a lot of tickets from people who do not realize you can still join, when they think they have been locked out of TW and miss out on the join phase.
Hopefully this issue gets fixed, but maybe more importantly addressed, so people don't lose out on TW, needlessly, this time around.

Same here. I and especially our guild want to have a compensation for this bug! It brought a lot of upset comments, confusion and anger.
And many are not able to get any rewards now.

Situation was worse than button being grayed out. I definitely joined the TW as i checked later. TW wasn't active for me and i haven't been able to enter.

I can confirm that this is more than the visual bug on the join button. After joining, and now that the event has started, it does not appear on the guild events page so I have no way to set squads.
please revert the bad update, it is causing major guild issues

I joined as well, then later it said I hadnt.
