Had to resort to asking my bank to refund the balance given the complete lack of support from EA and capital games. Nice of them to send a threatening email about me going via my bank to get my money back after giving them ample time to fulfill the purchase.

Any chargeback and EA takes action against you even though, by law, consumers are protected and can use their bank to resolve disputes. They will ban your account. Report them to California Attny General Rob Bonta’s office. You also have rights through the Federal Trade Commission.
