This is a situation that can occur if you quick tap on node refresh/energy refresh while your app is lagging or your internet connection is unstable/slow.
To be on the safe side, if you notice a purchase didn't go through the first time, check your internet connection and restart the app before attempting the same purchase again.
In regards to the accidental crystal spend, unfortunately, we don't handle it via forum. Accidental purchases and compensations are handled by our Customer Support team.
