PC special mystery chest issue

Hello, I’ve been attempting to claim the mystery chest for a few days now (ever since I learned it existed) and I’ve only been able to claim it once. My internet connection is fine and to the best of my knowledge my computer meets at least the minimum requirements. I keep getting a connection error (I’ve attached a picture). Does anyone know why this keeps happening or if there’s a better way to access the game through PC? Currently using the EA app and I’ve tried repairing the game.
