Permantly +3 notifications

This bugged me too. 

I got around it by entering every single event in the Events and it went away for me. You don't need to do the events you just need to enter it.

I am experiencing a similar issue. In my case, the badge for 1 notification remains and does not disappear.

You're onto something. In that window I see no missed notifications but in every other window I see it. Seems to be the correct place, but I have visited (at least seems so) and still remains. Is there something sneakyI might have missed?

For me, it was in the events. 

I noticed it when I switched between Daily and Episode questions where the notification would appear briefly in the Daily Quests and disappear.
