Problem linking Google play account in game on Samsung Note8

I can't link my Google play account to the game on my new Samsung Note8 phone. I have Google play games on phone with my account showing, but Galaxy of Heroes will only ever open in a new guest accoun...

@Norrout Thanks for the post, that's odd alight. Can you try launching the game from within Google Play's app and see is that has any effect? 

If it's not listed in your installed games you can try using the explore option from the menu and see what happens if you try to grab GoH using that?

    The only solution I could find to the problem was to do a factory reset, which as it's a new phone wasn't the end of the world.
