Punishing One still gives Bonus Protection when not all allies are Bounty Hunter

Product: Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes
Platform:iOS
What type of device are you experiencing the issue with? Phone
OS Version 15.8.3
Ally Code: (Find it here: http://bit.ly/AllyCode ) 142452151
What type of issue do you have? Gameplay
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Summarize your bug P1's unique states that all allies have to be BH for it to apply. With 4/4 reinforcements, one ship must not be BH as there are only 6 BH ships. But upon entering battle, enemy attacker allies still have bonus protection? I have not tested if the other aspects of the unique are still applying, i figure that would be easier for you guys because you actually have the code to look at. But im guessing its why TIE fighters are still able to crit and dodge against it
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Enter a battle against a P1 executor that is not all BH ships. Its not that hard to even check for.

I think we need the beta tester program back y'all 😅😅😅

This is really something that should be, at the least, passed along to update the verbiage of one or both of these ships as having two abilities worded almost identically but functioning differently is a terrible user experience.

"At the start of battle, if Punishing One is deployed and all allies are Bounty Hunters (excluding the Capital Ship)" and "At the start of battle, if all allies are Empire, Inquisitorius, or Sith" not behaving the same is the epitome of terrible writing and user experience.

Even the code seems almost identical:

The "targeting_sets_exclude" is the only difference between the two, but it's far from descriptive of what it's checking for and may be what is causing the two to behave differently.

The fact that these two unique abilities function differently shouldn't be something that you have to wonder about in game when it happens, see they're essentially identical on the best resource to check on this sort of thing (.gg) and then have to come here to the technical issues board to find out that they are apparently both working correctly while being labeled as identical everywhere else.

  • Could you make this more obvious in the ability description then? such as "if all ships not in reinforcements are bounty hunter". TIE Advanced has "At the start of battle, if all allies are Empire, Inquisitorius, or Sith and TIE/IN Interceptor is in reinforcements, allied Empire Capital Ship cooldowns are reduced by 1 (including Call Reinforcement)." however, if there is a ship in reinforcements that isnt any of those tags then it breaks?

  • @24tpzvi50xev The unique ability excludes reinforcements. If P1, Slave 1, and HT are deployed at the start of battle, Slave 1 will gain bonus protection as described. If you swap HT with any non-BH ships and enter the battle, unique will not apply bonus protection because the 3rd ship is not a bounty hunter ship.
