Re: cats basic dmg can´t be correct

So according to swgoh.gg, CAT's basic modifier is only 0.867, which is incredibly low, but it was probably done as a balance issue.

GAS has a basic modifier of 2.2. Furthermore, it ignores defense.

There's a lot of information you left out, such as full team comps, mods, and buffs. What critical damage is each starting with? Are you noticing crits or non-crits? What uniques and leader bonuses are active? A lot can go into the calculation, but the short answer is yes: the base damage on basic for GAS is over 2.5 times what it is for CAT, not taking into account mods and bonuses. The fact that GAS will ignore defense and CAT won't is also going to result in higher damage output from GAS on basic.

@crzydroid thx for your answer, but i ´ve only mentioned GAS i could also mention ashoka she does always tripple or quaddruple dmg than CAT in this team

i´m running with JMK

CAT´s low basic dmg is against everything in arena (not in raids, i believe i have seen normal dmg from her with JMK in hsr)

just now i´ve played her against an SLKR with daka zombie in arena... she had no mastery down cause SLKR could only attack GK

my CAT had done with her basic 2 times about 5k dmg against daka and also the same amount against zombie

the numbers are always blue (not red or yellow, i think yellow mean crit) if that's supposed to mean anything

@jedilord1 , CAT’s basic is doing special damage, which is mitigated by the enemy’s Resistance.

When GAS uses his basic attack, both the basic and Telekinesis are physics, damage, but both also ignore the target’s defense, so there is no mitigation.

you mean 5k damage is correct for relic CAT?
GAS is only a toon i´ve mentioned because he is in the same team, as i´ve already said ashoka is also in that team, but she is also doing physic dmg... but regardless of the toons, tell me any toon who is dealing special damage, i guess every toon in the game is dealing more than 5k dmg without leader, without uniques as a solo toon at gear10

a relic5 toon who deals 5k dmg? even though offense unique and mastery stacking is active? you are convinced that this is correct?

@jedilord1 What we're telling you is that yes, indeed has a very low damage modifier on basic, that is further reduced by resistance. If it's a non-crit it will be low, especially when you are looking at individual damage numbers instead of adding the two.
I can only assume this design is to balance her Force Leap.
