I think I got something working for this last night.  I uninstalled the app, uninstalled all versions of Bluestacks that I had (I mainly used 4.0 but was trying 5.0 as well - it's a bit too weird for me still).  Then I redownloaded 4.0 Nougat 64-bit.  Got the app and it seems to be working correctly.  It's a little buggy still with odd freezing behaviour, but that only seems to be the case when I leave the game idling for a while.  It may also be a bluestacks and/or windows 11 issue instead of directly being the game/client's fault.  Hope this helps.

same problem here... only version where i caan atleast get in game is BS v.4 64MB .  But it freezes after like 1 minute of crazy lags... So unplayble... I know its not supported by cg but i am not going to play on phone.   Why they need to * so much with every damn update????? so annoying.....

We know, though thankfully it seems like it's just a graphical issue since the audio is still playing.

Out of interest, would it at all be possible to include the Bluestacks emulator in your compatibility testing?  You all work on desktops and laptops, so I'm guessing some of you already have emulators.  It's just nice playing on a large screen.

@EA_UltraSlideyou should also be aware that very large number off your playerbase is playing on them and act acordingly..... Hate this excuse...

Guys on Bluestacks, try the following:

Performance

Set your framerate to 30 fps but also enable v-sync.  

Graphics

Performance (Legacy Mode)

OpenGL renderer

These are my settings - I think the v-sync helps out a lot.  I left my game idling overnight while I slept and woke up to find that it hadn't frozen.  Additional, I did this on Bluestacks 5.3.145.1003 N64.

@GaleSWGOHJust for info it is not only Bluestack affected. I play the game on LD Player and rarely after the update I receive this freeze too. 
Edit: I started V-Sync on now and will check how it will be. Interesting LD Player does not support less than 60fps.

One person in the SWGoH forum said this happened on an iPad. Another in the other thread here that it happened on a phone. 

The Same Freeze`s happens to me 100 times on my Android Device Samsung Galaxy A42 - after the last update on 11/17/2021.

Please CG Fix the issue it`s affecting every kind of device ,nather it a Mobile device or PC emulator.

Everyone in the thread - can we please stop the bashing of the devs?  It's unconstructive and frankly unnecessary.  

I do not know much at all about coding games for mobile platforms, but given the wide variety and make of phones and such, it's probably more difficult than coding just for a PS5/Xbox etc.  

Report issues but damn, leave it at that.  The devs have given everyone a game that doesn't cost a single penny to play and we still get such massive uproars about it.  Calm yourselves.  Be professional (even if you think another person is not being professional).

Can you please provide more as to this, why are they unsupported?  Apple users contribute financially to your game and as such use of emulators happen.  People like myself play on PC and thereby need the use of emulators so why are you not taking responsibility for that your latest update is in fact broken.  I have used bluestacks for quite a while and this is the first time this has happened.  So why now?  Do you have to pay fees which you no longer want to take from your mainstream revenue.  So on the day of releasing 'exciting new content' such as Dash, you remove playability at the same time.

And i would like to add to the earlier poster comments about behaviour towards the admins or mods here, I agree and sympathise that the admins and mods here will fully expect such a backlash due to CG (and whoever else, such as EA) when they treat their player base with contempt.  Many bugs still are not addressed which most of the playing base can carry on the game without, however, when constant freezing occurs during raids, combats and other important events (imagine trying to do conquest in this environment?) then i do disagree with the previous poster. The game thrives on income from the paying player base keeping the game F2P to an extent and whilst i agree its important to keep professional, CG just do not listen. 

I have reported the issue ingame and was given such reply.  The ingame support do not receive any assistance either in dealing with issues.  This issue is not just this thread, there are many more on it and even the gaming community are making youtube videos on it.

So the mods in the SWGOH Forums delete reasonable questions as to why you take money from emulating players?  Yet you make no effort to reach out to those, in other words, we do what we like and we dont care.  How is that perceived?  I for one will not let it go.  You take money from players, playing on different platforms.  I will reach out to Bluestacks too to see if there is a different side rather than 'we never used emulators' which is a lie.

Oh and Kyno deleted anything negative in that conversation.  

So for anyone who says CG cares, they dont, they have used emulators for years but something HAS changed that they cant now deal with.  They have taken money from people who have used such emulators but now dismiss those users as 'we never supported emulators'.  No one said support, but used emulators.

Been unable to play since the update, not paying another dime. Also changing my review on Android store. 

Easy to stop paying and playing = did enjoy it, but now - nope, take my money for years and now play the "we don't support you" game. Ciao

This worked for me been a week since not being able to play used to play on bluestacks 4 for years on my alt thanks alot.  Hoping i don't get crashes still but at least its playable again.

Just a heads up, after todays update my bluestacks is working again. I had to delete the game and download again, small price to pay for having it back on my laptop though.
