I have done the steps. I have pressed connect and ea connect. Signed in and it’s been accepted by the game but I am still facing the same issue where it takes ages to connect and do anything in game
Ok, so your issue isn't the same as the other reports. You're able to see the EA Connect button and don't encounter the error messages displayed in the Webstore Error Guide? I'll move your posts into their own thread to limit mixing up issues together.
Have you tried any troubleshooting aside from changing up the connection type? What make and model are you playing SWGOH from?

I have gone through the help team in game and followed what they had asked and it was unresolved.
