I have the same issue and have tried all I know of...luckily I have the PC client but that doesn't help when on the go

I had that issue starting last night. Did everything you did also. Got bored and played guest just to hit buttons. Few minutes in it jumped to my account without trying to do anything other than piddle 

Im having the same issue. No amount of time or anything has solved this...

After trying everything i solved it. I clicked cancel and hit play as guest, then once that loaded in i clicked conmect while in game and logged into it through the EA login instead of googleplay. This fixed it.

Having this issue as well...not fixed for me either...

I'm having the same issue. The only thing that works for me is removing my Google account from my phone, rebooting and signing back into my Google account. It keeps happening over and over again.

I am also having this issue on my Android.  It plays fine on the PC client but my Android keeps telling giving me the 24hr pop-up.

All that does is connect the now new account to your EA account. I just attempted it and wasn't prompted to log in with my EA account, it just connected the level 2 new player profile.

Having some issue even tried on a different phone same error.

I have been having this issue for a few days now.  None of the above suggestions have worked.  Signing in via my Google Play Games account doesn't work anymore, even if I sign in as a guest and then use the connect option.  I have tried clearing the cache, clearing the storage, uninstalling the game, restarting my phone, and installing the game again.  The timing couldn't be worse.  I'm the leader of my guild, and we were in the middle of Rise, which I haven't been able to contribute my 11mil GP to since phase two started.

I finally got my account working again after deleting my Google Play Services and Google Play Store data on my phone and reinstalling the game.

Is there a fix for this? Without EA

I have the same problem and can't get any help. This is infuriating. I am done with this game. I spent $ on it every month but if I can't even log in the **bleep** it

Playing as a guest then signing in doesn't work for me.  Keep getting the connection lost, session expired error.

I'm having this issue now. Google Play works fine for other games, but this one gets caught in a cycle of getting mento sign in, loosing connection, reloading, and so on.
