If you've linked your account you should just be able to log back in to whatever you used to link it.
If you didn't, you'll need to reach out to our live support team. They can take a look at whether they can restore your guest progress.

This is what you get when you try to recover your account—worst customer service ever. The account didn’t get deleted; it’s still in the guild with all its progress.

As I understand it. If you have pressed that 'delete account' button, you have deleted your account. What is left is a ghost of your account.
I believe the reason for this is, that you have interacted with other players' accounts (PvP and whatnot). Deleting accounts completely without leaving a shadow/ghost may/does cause issues/bugs with the history. That's why you can see it and it looks like it is still there, but actually it isn't. I've known other games in the past that have done something similar to protect past interactions with other players.
I think legally, they have to provide you with a 'delete account' button. However, I can't see it being a good option in most cases. I can't say I'm 100% definitely right with what I've written here. However, I think I'm correct and it will at least help you understand why there isn't an account for you to recover.
