With EP rework and him getting popular again, someone like Rex and Grand Master Yoda are again needed for teams. Grand Master Yoda AI has been fixed a long time ago to give Tenacity Up (and foresight for zeta). However Rex AI is still hopelessly broken. The whole point is for Rex to prevent debuffs on the team and to get them moving. The fact that AI still prioritizes the special attack is just wrong and makes Rex incredibly inefficient in a modern squad.
