They can check it if they wish. But if you are just going off swgoh.gg, there's a lot to interpret there. At first glance, adding 100% of the flat value would just double it. But swgoh.gg actually calls those variables by two different names. Armor penetration is usually flat. Is there a hidden percent value? Maybe. Again, they can check if they want, and it could indeed be bugged given that it was set up when gear levels were way lower. But the fact that the entire variable name is different gives me pause with jumping to that conclusion.
A simple test - comparing how spirit, canderous and sidious damage behaves across different gc levels proves your theory invalid.
Canderous and spirit dmg remains same, sidious basic goes down as the gc level goes up.
Whatever your intepretation of variable is, it doesn't change the fact that sidious basic does not ignore armor as described.

Ah, I didn't see that this was something you had actively tested in game. For some reason I thought you had just been browsing through swgoh.gg. My apologies there.
If you have seen this in action, then by all means they should check it out. If you happen to get a recording or screen grabs that could help with the post; otherwise it is likely EA will still get to this and flag it.
