There is a new fan site that is search engine optimized to appear at the top of the results (on Bing) when searching for "swgoh store". The site is called "SWGOH Webstore – Your Smartest Shortcut in Galaxy of Heroes" with the URL "swgohwebstore.com". Though the site appears to be attempting to help players find information I think it is very bad from a game security standpoint to have this site look like the official webstore via it's URL.
It does feel like a misnaming, at the least. While the homepage is definitely a webstore tutorial, the menu is broader. Definitely not downloading anything or entering information there, although I wasn't pressured to do either when I looked.
It’s a good reminder to always double-check the website address before logging in or making purchases. Even if a site looks helpful, using unofficial pages can create confusion and increase security risks. I always stick with the official store, just like I verify trusted sources instead of random links such as animeworld, because a familiar-looking URL doesn’t always mean it’s the legitimate one.
At the very least, it seems like a misnaming. The menu is more expansive, but the homepage is undoubtedly a webstore instructional. I didn't download anything or submit any information there, but while I looked, I wasn't under any pressure to do either.
