Same issue. Stuck in loop. Ally code is 512-933-533. 

I'm stuck on this as well. I don't know my ally code, but my in game name is TheBerean.

I HAVE A FIX!!!   Select 16 favorite ships but NOT the Endurance. This will push Endurance down the list and clear this issue. You can then hit the home button. When logging back in, the initial tutorial prompt may still pop up but once you tap/click it you can just click the home button to exit.
