Stuck on update

Hello guys,

When I try to start the game on my laptop it gets stuck on an update (53%, 23mb out of 44mb). 

Ive uninstalled the game several times, tried the repair tool, cleared the EA apps cache, restarted the laptop to no success, same result every time.

Any suggestions on how to solve this pickle?
