Same here on pixel 5a. I had thought it may be an issue just on my old Moto G Stylus... Apparently not. I definitely put less hours in now that I can't listen to podcasts or books while playing.
I feel bad for my guild that I'm slacking as officer in.
Just want to add my 2c for benefit of @EA_UltraSlide and others, I too make extensive use of audiobooks and music while playing SWGOH and have been really put out by this accidental change. Please fix it! Android phone (OnePlus 6)
I'd love at least an ETA for the fix. Like everyone else in this thread I mainly play while listening to something. I definitely spent little to no money on this game last month because of it. It's ridiculous that a large portion of the player base is penalized just because of our phone's OS.
