Bought TIE/IN LSB - charged but not received
I bought "TIE/IN INTERCEPTOR LIGHTSPEED BUNDLE" from the SW: GOH web store , was charged without issue, and received an email receipt for the purchase.
I have not received the in-game item. I started the EA Help process, and so far my advisor Ankit has stated "all sales are final" as the only solution. So EA can charge me for an item and not give me that item, and that's all there is to it?
This is the 2nd time this has happened to me with SW: GOH web store purchases in the past few weeks, and from review of these and other forums this seems to be a very common issue lately. After the advisor for the first issue did not propose any solution and stopped responding for over a week, I filed a credit card dispute. Doing that has now put a warning on my EA account (the first in 13 years!), threatening to revoke all current in-game entitlements and limiting or preventing all future in-game purchases.
2 weeks after the purchase of the first SW: GOH in-game item, I received it without any further contact or communication from EA. I closed the credit card dispute the same day, but the violation remains on my account. I've closed the support case noting I withdrew the dispute, chatted with an EA Help advisor, and have filed an appeal to the violation.
I have done nothing wrong, and all of the issues related to these in-game purchases are on EA's side. All I have done is order items, pay for those items, and then expect to receive what I paid for.
To the EA moderators: What is the next step in receiving the "TIE/IN INTERCEPTOR LIGHTSPEED BUNDLE" I bought and paid for? And if it is not possible to receive this item, how do I go about receiving a refund?
