TB - Action buttons disappeared mid battle today

Missing buttons in TB seems to happening to a lot of folk with today's update. It happened to a fellow guild mate earlier today. It just happened with me. In the forums there are a number of reports of this happening. DID WE JUST GET A LEMON OF AN UPDATE??

In the opening post there's some information that'd be helpful to gather while we're looking into this. Please copy the Q's and fill out the answers in the comments on that bug report thread.

And one of my shard mates had it happen in squad arena today.

Aye, it does seem to be a TB issue. I'm asking if the buttons disappearance after a crash in TB? Or were the buttons there one minute and gone the next, no crash necessary?

Happens in Galactic War as well, node 6. According to many on this forum and on reddit, it seems to be caused when Qui-gon or Ayla is present in the battle. Issue started after the most recent update.
