TB phase 4 - Combat Mission Stalled

Summarize your bug Territory Battle, phase 4, in the mission that requires Hoth Rebel Soldier and 5* rebels in the middle section. The game screen froze and all I could do was toggle the auto battle on and off, change the battle speed, and open/close chat. The settings button was greyed out and all the attack options disappeared. I couldn't do anything in the mission, and it cost my guild valuable points.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? It seems to happen randomly when a territory battle mission is played. Just play enough missions and eventually, the game seems to freeze. I've seen it happen to most of my guildmates but this is the first time that this particular issue has happened to me.

Date of the issue is Feb 1, 2018.
Time of the battle is around 20:20 EST (GMT-5)
The app was open for a couple of hours before this issue happened. I was playing on and off during the time that the app was open.

I had to force close the app and restart it since there was no other way to complete or exit the battle.
I didn't minimize the app, lose internet connection, get a call or text notification or otherwise interrupt the mission prior to the issue.
None of my characters died during the battle, so it's not the revival glitch.

I would like to note that immediately after one of the Snowtroopers used his AOE, my team retaliated, and then Commander Luke Skywalker used his special Use the Force without me selecting the ability. Then, the issue happened.
