Trying to open Conquest crashing the game

Product: Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes
Platform:Apple iPhone
What type of device are you experiencing the issue with? IPhone
OS Version Multiple. 14.8 and 15.1 after upgrading

What type of issue do you have? Gameplay
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Summarize your bug Trying to open conquest is crashing the app every time I try to open that game mode for the last 4 hours. Every other function in game appears to work. It’s only Conquest.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Aside from knowing I bought the basic battle pass not sure what’s going to help you, but check Reddit as others are reporting this bug across other operating systems.

There is nothing else to add. The app is preventing from playing a game mode I literally paid to play.

Hi guys,

Can you try clearing your cache/game data - iOS & Android.

Failing that, could you please try and reinstall the game.

If you are still facing issues after trying the above, please let us know.

Edit:

@dd3h4wpb2qw1 Having same issue….game also crashes in the sub menus (i.e. the individual character screens) when searching for shards, gears, relics locations a character needs.

I also have this problem on my IPad Air 3 and it remains after updating to latest IPadOS. I also have further issue mentioned in second comment.
Interestingly not an issue when using my iPhone.

Hi guys,

@dd3h4wpb2qw1 - Is this still an issue for you? It appears that you have been able to play conquest and have gained some Conquest Keycards and rewards.

I am having this issue as well. Was able to play earlier yesterday, but now instantly crashes when I got to Conquest

I didn't have any problems playing yesterday, but I'm having the game crash issues as well, from character screens and conquest.
If I go into the actual battle locations I can play but conquest and characters screens boot me.
My Ally code is 151-674-135 and I have an Android.

I’m having the same issues as mentioned above. I cannot access conquest due to game crashing as of this morning. I cannot farm shards through the Collections button otherwise my game crashes. I have to go to the actual battles themselves to get around the crashing.

Yes, still happening as of this morning.
I was able to play for the first few hours after Conquest started.

The game is also crashing when I navigate to a character and attempt to farm either relic materials or gear through their specific screens. For example:
I click “Collections” on Home Screen
click a character
click their relic icon in lower left hand corner
click the relic materials I want to farm
Click “find”
game crashes the same way it does for Conquest
this happens with any type of farming through a character screen, but not if I navigate directly to a cantina or energy node and attempt to farm.
(I wasn’t trying this last night as I was done refreshing for day)
