I already knew that their active gp wasn’t at 52M, but still even if we were dead even their gp is effectively stronger than ours. I wonder if using weighted averages would help the matching process be more even. What I’m thinking is that averaging the gp of active players that fall in to specific ranges (say, for example, 1-1.49M, 1.5-1.99M, 2-2.49M, etc.), and then averaging those results. That could give a more accurate picture of a guild’s effectiveness vs another guild I think. I hope I’m not overstepping... it’s just a thought I had (I’m an engineer. I can’t help myself... lol)
Anyway, I digress. I just wanted to bring the situation to your attention because all of us in the guild love the game and work hard at it to be competitive. Situations like this can be frustrating and disheartening. So if we can contribute to improving the quality of the end product by providing feedback, we’re happy to do so!
