UI 9.0 Unplayably laggy

I just update my Samsung s24 to UI 9.0 and the game is now so laggy its unplayable. I have tried changing the performance mode, dropping the frame rate to 60 hz, and increasing the virtual memory. Nothing has made the slightest difference. Any other suggestions?
