Whenever I try to launch the PC client from the EA app, I get a connection error popup. I've attached a screenshot of what pops up, and I'm hoping someone can help me? I've tried both repairing and uninstalling/reinstalling the game, but nothing seems to work.
Community ManagerHi there. Are you on a VPN or possibly using a firewall or antivirus software? It's possible something is blocking your connection.
No, I don't have a VPN enabled. And I only have the Windows Defender firewall going, so dunno. I guess I can try giving the game permission for the firewall and see if that fixes it.
okay I tried that, and apparently the game already has a firewall exception.
Community ManagerThanks for trying that. Next, try clearing the EA App cache with these instructions.
If that doesn't help, power cycle your modem/router by unplugging it for a couple of minutes and then plugging it back in. Once it's all back online, try again.
Clearing the cache didn't work, so I'll have to try the power cycle. Just need to get my landlord to do it cause I don't have access to the router physically.
