Unable to start the game

The loading screen is frozen at the "Loading Cantina" stage.  I'm on an iPhone 17 Pro with OS 26.5.  The previous stages "Checking for Updates" and "Initiating Game Systems" seem to be skipped.  This is regardless of using wifi or cellular.
