Unstable game must be reinstalled every time

Product: Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes
Platform:Android Phone
What type of device are you experiencing the issue with? Samsung Galaxy J3
OS Version android

What type of issue do you have? Gameplay
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Summarize your bug For awhile now, various icons or other will become a black blob, the background of cantina will get darker, or the game just bogs down and crashes. Normally restarting the game would clear out the memory, and the game would be playable for 30 minutes to an hour before repeating. For the last three hours now, the game won't open. The only way to open it is to uninstall and reinstall. This works until the game crashes, forcing another reinstall
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? play the game on my phone

    The team are aware of and are still working on some UI related issues.

    If you are still facing issues when starting the game, please do as @Freekshow1971 has suggested and update Android System Webview.

    This seems to have effected several Android Apps (including Gmail and the following was released by Google). The following steps should help:

    1. Navigate to Play Store app
    2. Search for Android System WebView
    3. Select the "Update" option
    4. If the issue still persists, repeat these steps for Google Chrome

  • I have the same thing except I never load in, I must uninstall and reinstall to even see the loading screen. I'm on Motorola S7.

    What type of issue do you have? Game must be reinstalled each time to play. Starting after reboot has no positive effect.

    Starting with WiFi disabled, no effect.

    Started after cache has been cleared, no effect. 

    Started after data for app has been cleared. Game will load correctly. 

    Close app fully down and start, crashes before starting to load. Data must be cleared again. 

    Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Test current build on android environment.

  • I am having the same issue.

    Every time I launch it, I see the CG logo, then the Disney and LucasFilm logos, then it crashes.

    I have tried restarting my phone. I have tried clearing cache, I have tried clearing all data. The only thing that worked was uninstalling the game and installing it again, but when I went to launch the game again the same thing happened. I had seen a recommendation to uninstall and reinstall Google Play Games so I did that as well as uninstalling the game but the problem came back again.

    This only started happening yesterday - 22/03/2021

    I play on multiple accounts from separate accounts on my phone so I can do my son's daily activities if he hasn't had time. I don't know if that affects things? My ally code, if it makes any difference, is 372227113
