Webstore showing wrong currency

For some reason the webstore ALWAYS shows my currency as Swedish.

I have never been to Sweden. I have never had my account set to Swedish.
It has always been set to residing in the Netherlands, and my language as either English or Dutch.

I do not use a VPN, and have updated my country settings well over a dozen times now, because this seems to be the only advice EA wants to give on this problem.

I have deleted caches etc countless times.

I have used 4 different browsers

I have used incognito mode

I have used different devices.

nothing seems to work.

    Thanks for reaching out. I've asked the team to take a look into the Dutch store but they found no issue with it. The correct currency is set and displayed. Whatever's happening for you isn't taking place on the server side. It suggests something is out of sync on the device side.

    Usually, it happens because a VPN is being used, or had been used in the past. You've run through most of the troubleshooting recommendations, what remains would be to ensure fully clear the browser data stored (cookies, cache, browsing, download history, etc). Once that's done, fully close down all browsing windows (check in Task Manager to ensure it's not running in the background) and then open a fresh new window and try again.

  • For me the SWGOH webstore always shows SEK instead of EURO as well.

    I reside in the Netherlands, my IP address leads to the Netherlands. I have never used a VPN.

    I have also been told by EA support to remove browser cache, addons, change my location. To no effect.

    My EA account has it's location set to Netherlands, so this isn't the cause of the problem either.

    This problem continues no matter where I am or what device I use. It makes me think it's not a device issue but resides with either my account or the webstore.

    I too am showing wrong currency after doing one purchase and relogging into the web store. What gives? Please give us an option to change the currency to our home country. Mine changed from $US to JPY for no reason. Please solve this issue.

    I have the same problem, your sulution does not work. I'm also from the netherlands.
