[Bug] Magenta-ish colors are transparent in skins

If you create a custom skin that has any color in the >=250, 0, >=250 range, parts of the texture that have the magenta-ish colors gets transparent when rendered on the skin mesh.

This issue does not exist in the original Complete Collection.

Another thing that I've also noticed is that Legacy Collection supports 24-bit bitmap images for skins, while the original Complete Collection only supported 8-bit (paletted 256 colors) bitmaps. This is very cool because bitmap files are better supported than TARGA (.tga) files.

(Smol feature request: It would be cool if skins supported ".png" files, because ".bmp" and ".tga" files are uncompressed on the disk, so they are way bigger than ".png" files... but that would probably be out of scope for the rerelease)

  • Another skin related change: Textures are linearly interpolated in Legacy Collection, while in Complete Collection they use Nearest Neighbor

This is just a small nitpick, because it doesn't affect a lot of skins unless if you are doing a pixel-arty skin, and it is probably for the best that it uses linear interpolation.
