Hi, I got sims legacy on steam and all of the townies are now called Randy. I know it has something to do with the registry of the game being USEnglish when the save is UKEnglish, is there anyway to fix this? There is no registry option to change language in regedit for the steam version. Is there anyway manual way to change the game back to UK English? I’m hoping this would fix it?

IjilMain Does it help to move or rename the Sims 25 folder here?
C:\Users\your username\Saved Games\Electronic Arts
This folder contains your user data, including saves, so removing it would reset all your progress.
If this doesn't help, repair the game in Steam (Sims Legacy > Properties > Installed Files > Verify integrity of the game files) and remove the Sims 25 folder again.
The only way to fix it was to buy the game on EA, this has the option for UK english, the steam version doesnt! Got a refund from steam! really annoying because its literally just an option that steam doesnt have.
