Sims 1 and Sims 2 STILL UNABLE to launch after Update 2/06/25

I have verified I have ALL system requirements, plenty of storage space, on my end there is NO reason why this game should not be working. I updated it with the patch and everything and still cannot get either Sims 1 or Sims 2 to load, and when my computer tries it freezes my entire system and I have to force restart. Is there anything else I can do to make this game run? I so much wanted to play Sims 2.
