Sims 1 Legacy Collection Window Size Issue
Sims 1 Legacy Collection only launches at my base monitor resolution, and when put into windows mode with ALT+Enter, it makes the window a lot larger than my monitor, because of the title bar and frame, and it covers my task bar, which covers my other applications, which is why I prefer Windowed mode in the first place.
I would prefer to select my resolution. Some people said a fix is to change resolutions and press ALT+ENTER to adjust it, then change back... but this messes up my desktop organization, and the sims gives me a warning that switching resolutions isn't supported and it closes, meaning i cant do nothing about it.
some people said ALT+ENTER would "cycle through options" but the only options I seem to have are "Max display resolution windowed" and "Max display resolution fullscreen" I have seen screenshots of people hitting it again and getting what looked like 1600x900, and that would be great if it worked.
I would like to be able to have a smaller, floating window on my display that is not 100% as big as my display's maximum resolution. Is there an Options.ini or some kind of steam launch instruction that would successfully make this happen?
Hi all,
This was resolved in today's patch:
- Alt+Enter does not always scale the way players expect
