Sims 1 Legacy empty neighborhood

I am experiencing a bug where my game is showing nothing in the neighborhoods and crashes when I do anything. I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, verifying the files, and deleting the "sims25" folder from my saved data from my user data. nothing is working

Unfortunatley that didn't work, making copies of the user data made 8 copies of neighborhood one. I need the neighborhoods from living large and house party to show up

I have to add, also copy the folders UserData2 through 8 if you want to use multiple neighborhoods.

  • Admiral_slothAfter tinkering around with this for a while I think I figured it out. I was having the same issue. No neighbors showing with an empty lot and crashing. Too fix this, do the following:

    Go to:
    - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Sims Legacy Collection
    - Copy the folder named "UserData"

    - Paste "UserData" in
    C:\Users\"WhateverYourUserNameIs\Saved Games\Electronic Arts\The Sims 25

    - Open Sims and it should have the neighbors and tutorial now =]

  • The same thing is happening to me on a Steam deck and I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling, restarting, etc. and nothing fixes it :( Just bought the Steam deck in order to play this game, so disappointing and I hope this gets fixed soon.
