So far, the only issue I'm having with the game this far is lag. It's not a lot, and primarily affected live mode after several minutes of playing. CAS and B&B were fine, no issues there. I only had the one Sim, in the Vanilla House, and it was day 2 of living there (technically day one if you click on the funds to see how many days they've lived in their house) when things starting visibly taking a couple seconds longer than they should.
Would be great if they would refund the game, but they refused to refund me last night. Why should I pay for a game that doesn’t work 🙄 I told them I tried everything they recommended to fix it. A lot of other people are having the same issues now so hopefully they see it and do something about it.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but there is not at the minute, i've tried almost every advice on my end, lowering the res, switching to my integrated gpu, downloading third-party patches that were made for the original 2000 sims
nothing works, i'd refund and get your money back since EA isn't being transparent about the issue being there for several owners, they don't deserve money for a broken game and then not even commenting about one of the biggest issues for users that have AMD
I would love to know if there’s any way to fix this! Or if there will be an update of some sort, I didn’t pay $30 for it not to work, so disappointing 😑
Yea this is majorly an AMD issue, I've seen as low as 5fps when on a community lot
I’m having problems with lag on community lots and when there are more than 3 Sims on a lot, it’s unplayable. I read that people with an AMD graphics card are having the same issues.

SeaDragonSong To be clear, you're running the new release, not the original, right? I ask because you chose the Sims 2000 tag, and I want to be sure.
Anyway, please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
